Welcome to Make It Happen's website
We are a voluntary community group based in Girvan, South Ayrshire, Scotland.
Our motto is 'creativity for community well-being'
Please note Girvan Community Garden is now a separate company and charity and has its own website.
This site has been including details on Girvan Community Garden, but this will be transferred to its own website over time. In the meantime you can still find information on the garden here.
Congratulations to Girvan Community Garden on being awarded a grant by the Big Lottery. Two years funding for two staff and improvements to the garden. Great news!

Bookbug sessions run every Tuesday afternoon from 2.15pm to 4pm in the Methodist Hall Girvan
(opposite the Cooperative).
Come along with your toddler or baby and enjoy a fun time with your child, with stories, songs, interactive games, as well as meeting other mums. It's ideal if you have your first baby and are feeling isolated at home.
Open Day at Bairns 'n' Books Story Sack Library
During October 2011 the Girvan Story Sack Library opened its doors at the Methodist Church for a series of Open Days, followed by regular sessions of Bookbug Rhymetime for toddlers.
